Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to showcase their expertise and make a significant impact in the field of law.

Responsibilities

• Litigate civil cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other resources
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods
• Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other proceedings
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and laws
• Proficient in legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
