Joshua R. Kohanbash, Esq. finished law school in just two years through Southwestern’s competitive SCALE program, where he studied on scholarship before becoming a licensed California attorney in 2015. He launched his career at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, one of the largest defense firms in the nation, handling catastrophic injury cases including TBIs and amputations. Along the way, he’s settled seven-figure claims on both sides of the courtroom, giving him insider knowledge of how the defense thinks.

Today, Joshua uses that experience to fight for injured workers, accident victims, and employees across California. As the founding partner of Accident Defenders APC, he’s known for his aggressive style and client-first approach—taking on powerful insurance companies and employers to win justice and maximum compensation.
